Vishal-Shekhar 2016 roundup

2016 was full of Vishal-Shekhar's  music. In 2016 Vishal-Shekhar came up with 5 albums starting with Fan promotional track in April 2016 to Befikre album in December 2016. Now we will take a tour of 2016 music of Vishal-Shekhar















1. Jabra Fan (Promotion Track) - April 2016

This song was released in 12 different languages Arabic, Sinhala, Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Odia, Haryanvi and Punjabi.





















2. Sultan - July 2016

This album was hugely experimented with sounds and fusion which turned out to be one of the most successfull albums this year. The singera who lend their beautiful voices to this album were. Vishal Dadlani, Badshah, Shalmali Kholgade, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Neha Bhasin, Mika Singh, Papon, Nooran Sisters, Mohit Chauhan, Harshdeep Kaur, Sukhwinder Singh, Shaadab Faridi and Shekhar Ravjiani. The Tracks of this album were. Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai, Jag Ghoomeya, 440 Volt, Sultan, Sachi Muchi, Bulleya, Tuk Tuk, Jag Ghoomeya (Female) and Rise of Sultan. My favorite songs from this album are all songs






















3. Akira - September 2016

    Lyrics: Manoj Muntashir and Kumaar
    Director: A.R.Murugadoss
    Producer: A.R.Murugadoss and Fox Star Hindi
This album was also good with collection of light and rock music. The singers who lend their voice in this album were. Vishal Dadlani, Nahid Afrin, Sonakshi Sinha, Arijit Singh, Shekhar Ravjiani and Sunidhi Chauhan The tracks of this album were Rajj Rajj Ke (Version 1), Purza, Kehkasha Tu Meri, Rajj Rajj Ke (Version 2), Baadal, Rajj Rajj Ke (Remix). Kehkasha Tu Meri is the remake of Marathi song Haravli Pakhare from the movie Balak Palak composed by Vishal-Shekhar. My Favorite songs from this album are. Kehkasha Tu Meri, Rajj Rajj Ke and Purza.






















4. Banjo - September 2016

    Lyrics: Amitabh Bhattacharya
    Director: Ravi Jadhav
    Producer: Krishika Lulla
This was a musical film due to this i had a huge expectation from this album which i would sadly say that it did not fullfill my expectation the music was average but sonically the album was marvellous abd treat to ears the sound and instruments used in the whole was really giving pleasure to ears of the listeners. Singers who lend their voices in this album were. Vishal Dadlani, Hriday Gattani, Nakash Aziz, Shalmali Kholgade and Ajay Gogavle (Ajay-Atul fame). Tracks of this album were. Bappa, Udan Choo, Rada, Pee Paa Ke, Rehem O Karam and Om Gam Ganpataye Namah. My Favorite songs from this album are Udan Choo and Rehem O Karam.






















5. Befikre - December 2016

This album was also experimental with the fusion of Punjabi and Europian style in short it was IndoSpanish Combo with a retro feel in every song which sounded interesting a new to ears and the music production in this album was also excellent Kudos to Mikey McClarey who produced all songs so beautifully that all songs from this album had a repeat value. I will take this oppurtunity to thanks Vishal-Shekhar, Mikey McClarey and Jaideep Sahni sir for the wonderful music of this year. Whether it might be in composition wise or lyrically or music production wise, all the departments were BANG ON!!! which made this album a perfect album. Singers who lend their voices to this album were. Arijit Singh, Benny Dayal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Dadlani, Nikhil D'souza, Rachel Varghese, Papon, Gippy Grewal and Harshdeep Kaur Tracks from this album were. Nashe Si Chadh Gayi, Ude Dil Befikre, Je T'aime, You And Me, Labon Ka Karobar, Khulke Dulke and Love is a Dare (Instrumental). All songs are favorite from this album.
